It also has an extensive display of natural and cultural history from Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. They offer a range of hands on workshops that you can do including black smithing, silversmithing, lead lighting and leatherwork.
An old favourite of people visiting Toowoomba Picnic Point situated on the edge of the escarpment at 700m above sea level it provides spectacular views to the east over the Lockyer Valley. An excellent cafe and function centre is perfectly position to capture the views or you can take your own picnic basket and set up on the large grassed areas.
